 Dr. Nayyar provides comprehensive psychiatric services, diagnosis, treatment, and education for adults over 18. She starts with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation on all new patients, which includes a detailed review of both present and past medical, psychiatric, social and family history along with a thorough mental-status exam. Dr. Nayyar will also review records from prior treatments, as well as pertinent information from family doctors and therapists. This evaluation process is essential in developing a comprehensive diagnostic picture of each patient and provides a basis for treatment planning.
Follow up appointments are provided and the frequency and length of such appointments is determined on an individualized basis.
